Earth’s Lab Scholarship Program 2018
To encourage the pursuit of knowledge in medicine, nursing and public health, Earth’s Lab is offering a scholarship in the amount of $1,000 students in secondary and post-secondary education (including medical schools). Earth’s Lab is specifically interested in providing scholarships to those with a passion for protecting future generations from various diseases. Therefore we would be considering applications from students pursuing all areas of health care.
The Purpose of Earth’s Lab
Earth’s Lab is a collaboration of well-respected physicians dedicated to educating the public about various subjects of medicine and general health and wellness. Earth’s Lab empowers general public to take control of their health and studies by providing access to free online resources such as high-quality medical articles, videos and quizzes on various topics.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the Earth’s Lab Scholarship, you must be:
- Interested in the study of medicine or the pursuit of a career in the healthcare industry.
- Pursuing an undergraduate, graduate, or medical degree (Two-year degrees are eligible.) You must be accepted to claim the scholarship, but you can apply before acceptance. If not yet accepted, list the school where you think you are most likely to attend in 2018.
How to Apply
The application process is simple. You need to accurately complete the application form below.
Applicants must submit an essay explaining either “How would you improve the services of healthcare by pursuing a career in medicine” OR “What changes do you wish to see in the coming 5 years in healthcare industry” in 500 words or less.
This is intended to be challenging and thought provoking exercise and will be the sole criteria for choosing the winning applicant(s). Please direct any questions to [email protected].
