A parabola is an approximately U-shaped curve in mathematics which is formed by a set of points which are equidistant from a fixed point F called focus. The focus is present inside the curve.
All the points which make the parabola are equidistant form a given line known as the directrix. The directrix is the line which lies behind the parabola.
