Quantitative data is a simple information about quantities which means the information can be measured and can be written in numbers as it is a numerical information. The analysis of quantitative data requires statistical techniques thus, require complex sampling procedures. Quantitative data may not describe a complex situation accurately

Qualitative Data

Qualitative data is used to describe something it is of non-numerical nature and it can’t actually be recorded and can only be observed and recorded. The analysis of qualitative data can be done in different form which can be elaborating a concept or highlighting key words. Therefore, analysis of qualitative data can be time consuming.
